Responsibilities

(Depends on level of experience. Positions available for both experienced and senior level developers.)

  • Write and review extensible code
  • Assure 100% unit testing and integration testing of code
  • Contribute in all phases of product life cycle
  • Follow industry standard best practices
  • Assume responsibility for security of code and data; higher stakes in health care
  • Contribute to continual enhancement of product

​Requirements

  • B.S Computer Science or related field and 5+ years software development experience
  • Experience integrating third-party frameworks
  • Ability to analyze and optimize UI and back-end application code for efficiency and performance
  • Knowledge of performance tools and optimization techniques
  • Working knowledge of AWS tools, including EC2, VPC networking, ELB principles, ECS/docker, CloudFormation
  • Understanding of version control management, especially git
  • Willingness to write specifications for developers and review/merge code
  • Desire to solve problems and build great things

Location

This job is located out of our Chicago (West Loop) office, but remote, US-based applicants will be considered. Some travel may be required.
