Job Description

As a programmer, you will be working on Digital Intent’s product development team, building and testing web and mobile applications utilizing JavaScript (React), HTML5, CSS, PHP, Swift, Go, node, Java (and maybe more...).

This is an entry level opportunity offering potential for advancement into further development roles within Digital Intent. You will work under the guidance of senior programmers and work with UI/UX designers to build a variety of types of applications.

Your daily work will include:

Write new code from specifications written by engineers and project leads.
Write automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
Support existing code by fixing bugs or refactoring.
Document processes and code.
Perform all other assigned tasks in support of development team.
Be on-call after hours for support on a rotating basis (as needed).

You should:

Enjoy writing clean, documented code. (“But it works” is not always good enough!)
Be open to learning and using whatever technologies are needed. We are pragmatic--as opposed to philosophical--about our tools.
Be detailed-oriented.
Be able to follow directions and adhere to established, repeatable programming patterns.

Relevant skills include:

HTML5 and CSS
JavaScript frameworks like React
iOS (Swift) and Android (Java)
PHP 7
SQL

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of programming experience.
BS/MS in Computer Science or related field
Working knowledge of at least one relevant programming language in addition to JS/HTML/CSS.
Demonstrate accountability and ability to complete projects.
