UX Engineer - Front End/Web - Digital Intent

Responsibilities

Work with UX designers and the front end team to design and build out front-end applications and user interfaces
Write clean, maintainable HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
Keep up with best practices and developments in web design and usability, browsers, and JS frameworks and tools

Required Skills

3+ years experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Experience with modern JS frameworks like React.js, Vue.js, Backbone, Angular, or Ember
Familiarity with front end workflows and build tools, e.g. Gulp, Grunt, or Webpack
Comfort with Git and docker
Eagerness to jump in and work with leading front-end libraries and frameworks

Preferred Skills

Some familiarity with a server-side scripting language and the basic principles of API design is desirable
Some familiarity with cloud platforms, e.g. AWS, is desirable
Experience developing modular JavaScript applications
Experience with front end performance optimization
Knowledge and understanding of cross-browser and accessibility concerns
